Coyote Puppet Folkmanis

Coyote Puppet

The Coyote has a long history in folklore, cartoons, and in our minds as the sounds of the mountain wilderness. To capture this beauty and character the Folkmanis Coyote Puppet is ready to make story time come to life in animation and imagination. Featuring gorgeous silver, tan, white, brown and charcoal soft plush this Coyote puppet is easy to work and is ready for your howl. If held in the recommended cross armed fashion you can easily work the mouth with one hand while creating movement with the opposite hand including swishing the tail or moving a leg. Teachers can captivate their class room and students can participate actively as well by letting their personality reveal itself through the puppet. Librarians have also been able to work their magic with books and puppets help make stories more engaging for children that sometimes have trouble concentrating. Coyotes are a beautiful part of our early American history. Their numbers have been reduced significantly however in more recent times there has been a recovery. The Coyote Puppet can help bring awareness to their situation through education and help to preserve this national wildlife treasure. The Coyote Wolf is perfect for stories, plays, and best of all as with all animal puppets it combines education with fun.

  1. Besides the Coyote puppet looking so nice, in working puppets subtle movements are so much more effective than big movement. With the Coyote puppet instead of just opening and closing the mouth movement of the cheeks, or eye sockets or ears is very lifelike. The same is true with the simple movements you can make with the opposite hand including moving a leg, a little twitch of the tail or even breathing.
